2026-08-04Hello!This must be obvious to any long-time reader, but I think that I've found a cohesive style surrounding most of the photos I publish on this website. They're spontaneous moments that I capture on photowalks, showing the outdoors through the seasons.I'm still an event photographer by trade, and I experiment with abstract photography here and there. It's more stimulating to be packed with dozens or hundreds of people, but I'd be lying if I said I don't appreciate the quiet photowalks around town.This photo is one of those photowalks, where I went into the woods on a cloudy day and went as deep as I could without sacrificing too much to the mosquitoes and other annoying bugs. (Even the bug spray I used wasn't effective enough.)Finally, a different way to capture the sunrise over Acadia National Park.
