FlipToons (2)

My initial thought was that FlipToons was an inoffensive filler that I had an unfortunately bad experience with. Having played a second time, I am revising my opinion. It offends. Rating — Avoid. FlipToons 2 sucked the joy out of my life when the first card I bought (the only one I could afford) I randomly lost on the next flip, meaning my purchasing power was roughly half of everyone else for the next several turns. Towards the end of the game, when I randomly got one good turn, the best card I could buy was ranked #3 (from #21-#1 with higher being generally better). The person before me had bought a #15 …. leaving 1/1/1/2/3 after replacement. This might have been humorous at 15 minutes1 with the right crowd. But at 40 minutes? Can I blame the game for the crowd? Yes. Yes. I can. Game time is listed as 15-30 minutes. ︎
