First, humorous imaginary p.s. on my last post from cow on a.i. regurgitated by my elderly neighbor Jean - thanks. 'A.I.? You mean artificial insemination of course. Totally unnatural, but an awful lot easier.' Thought that was quite pertinent on reflection! And it put things in a greater perspective. So it's time to put my ruminating on a.i. in its place (and to a lesser degree what I post here on bear). Second, thanks to a bubbles blog which flagged how we're 'Salem-izing' a.i. I notice how much I and many others are demonizing or deifying a.i. and giving it human-like characteristics. Not to mention all the traction if posting about it! We're egged on of course, by the way a.i(s) are trained to 'APE' us, irresistibly and inevitably. If we become more ape-like (actually I prefer more gorilla-like) in the process perhaps may be that's great - leading us to draw on our senses first while we offload more thinking to something 'other'? Or will a.i. become more ape-like? Who really…
