Ever since Cocoa’s passing, LC and I have constantly looked for signs that, in some ways, she is still with us. Whether it’s the wind that caresses us as a symbol of her little T-rex arm hugs, the fur we find in certain places as her saying hello, or the faint whispers of her barks, we find ourselves looking for little reminders that she’s still around. People always say that when you lose a loved one, they come back in some form, or send someone or something to say hello. We’ve gotten bees and snakes crossing our paths. Cocoa was always a quirky one, so we wouldn’t have been surprised if that’s what she sent us. There was even a time we caught her playing with a spider (which I am deathly afraid of), but that’s a story for another time. I am saying it now: Cocoa, please do not send us any spiders. Anyways, the most recent sign she’s used to let us know she’s been around is dragonflies. We saw one that REFUSED to move from our front door when we came back from our daily walk to honor…
