Week notes 2026-32

HappeningsI like how Sylvia writes her weeknotes: short and succinct, with simple headings. I'm stealing her headings but I still need to learn the "short and succinct" part. Last week my wife and I spent the week with her in-laws; her Dad was in the hospital and recently officially diagnosed with vascular dementia; he came home Wednesday so we're happy about that. He's happier. We were out on the boat Saturday and caught a couple of fish1. I found it funny how my two different posts this week were received. I was most obvious about revealing my upcoming fatherhood in the first post about LEGO, but it was a reply post that caught on and people reached out to say congrats. What a way to find out how many people read your posts ;) There was something else I was going to mention here but it flew out of my mind as soon as I switched tasks, so I'm ending it here.
