Picture of the Day: March 2007

This is where the ‘picture of the day’ photos begin in earnest from my flickr backup. I do wish I’d saved some earlier ones but that’s life! I won’t be posting them all, just a select few. The banner image is of my bedroom back in Loggerheads. I’d forgotton how the light used to shine in like that, it was a tiny room but I liked it. That’s my first laptop on the desk, and in the window you can see one of those plasma ball things. I used to piss about with it until I could get it to spark. This is my old language classroom back at school. I must have taken the picture because I was getting towards the end of my time there. I did a lot of languages so spent a lot of time in that one room, to the point where they put a joke blue plaque up on the wall saying ‘Ben Oliver: Studied here 2000-2007’ or something. Off the top of my head, this is Liverpool airport. Travel was a big part of my life back then, mainly going back and forth from France in the holidays to see my dad. I don’t fly much…
