Vibe Check №43

During my last vibe check the kids were still in school. Time has flown by. Work-life balance disrupted. Camps attended. Vacations were had. Bank accounts drained. A normal summer routine. Inbound and outbound travels Since the last vibe check I’ve been on a handful of airplanes visiting both work and family. We also had family come to visit. And I logged some hours on Texas highways. May: Another trip to Redmond for work May: A trip to South Dakota to see my nephew Max graduate May: My wife’s parents visiting June: My dad and step-mom visiting June: My kids went to Houston to visit my mom June: My son went to summer camp June: My wife and daughter went to the Hamptons (!!!) July: We all went to San Diego, hung out with our friends in Encinitas, met my wife’s family in Mission, and tagged on a couple days in Phoenix. After beaching hard, we’re now back in Austin, where it’s just plain hot now. “No New Projects” My mantra for this year is “No New Projects” and I’m doing my best to…
