The week had exactly one moving part. A nasty virus set the terms -- survival mode, sessions shortened or surrendered to sleep, physical training cast aside for another week. Through all of it, the magician's table stayed fully stocked, wand, cup, sword, and pentacle each in place, and the one item missing was the very key to it all, my awareness.
