Book Review: Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin 0 ▲ Caffeine and Lasers 2 hours ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments Rating: 🟩 Type: Fiction A new friend of mine recently reccommended this one to me after I was gushing about how much I loved "The Disposessed" and emplored me to go into it blind. Oh boy am I glad that I did. In that spirit I will spoil even less than usual in my reviews here and say it is WELL worth the read. She does a fantastic job playing with perspective. Despite the third person narration, the she manages to conceal and manipulate the flow of information to the reader in a way which reflects the characters own knowledge, and it is a fantastic trick to pull on the reader when you first catch it. Highly reccomend! No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
