Where to find good coffee in Ikebukuro 1 ▲ Emma Goto 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Ikebukuro is a pretty big commercial and transportation hub in north-western Tokyo - it has the third-busiest train station in the world (only behind Shinjuku and Shibuya). I've managed to get the hang of Shinjuku station's sprawling underground passageways, but I'll admit the maze of Ikebukuro station still eludes me. If you're a fan of anime, Ikebukuro has quite a number of stores catering to otakus, and is otherwise home to multiple department stores like Lumine, Parco, Tobu and Seibu. There's also the Sunshine 60 building building which has a large Pokemon Centre store and the Sunshine Aquarium. Ikebukuro is not the most happening place for coffee, I will admit, but I have found a few favourites here outside of the usual chains. All three are laptop-friendly as well!
