By my count there are at least three "Heated Rivalry" musical parodies on at the Fringe this year. The zeitgeist skates to where the puck was six months ago, I guess! There's also a live version of a HR podcast if you just can't get enough of their wacky ice-capades. Just how much sexy-hockey can one city take? Produced by Quick and Funny Musicals, an American company specialising in cash-ins loving homages, this is surprisingly good! With songs like "Fuck Him Up The Butt (Metaphorically)" it isn't exactly subtle. The sex is acrobatic and - pixelated cocks aside - relatively raunchy. If you've binge-watched Hollander and Rozanov's tender and humble love-affair, you'll you find delight in every scene. Lots of memorable moments are mined for their comedy value, and there are a decent amount of songs shared between the dozen-or-so cast members.
