The Golden Key – What is a key for?

I recently watched mythologist and storyteller Martin Shaw speak with Matt Fradd about myths, fairy tales, and faith. I loved the conversation, and hope to read Martin's latest book, Liturgies of the Wild.Myth is a wild way of telling the truth. - Martin ShawShaw mentions that myth is an ocean dealing with cosmic implications of reality, while fairy tales are "little tributaries of myth that you can put in your pocket and carry around with you." They lead you to wonder about what is true, good, and beautiful in the microcosm of our own little everyday life.From that conversation, I decided to look into Household Tales by The Brothers Grimm published in 1812. One of the last tales in this collection is a short story entitled "The Golden Key."
