We stayed with my family in the suburbs. Instead of walking around everywhere, and getting thousands of steps in, all of a sudden we spent much more time in cars. That’s the way people designing the suburbs set it up. We were people operating in that structure. Inadvertently, this was around the time when we kicked off The Consistency Journal, and I realized after making it that I’d made a new structure for myself. By using a journal, I didn’t need to entirely move to a new system to walk more. I could use The Consistency Journal as a structure to make changes in my life in the suburbs and walking more. Even before we had a working sample, the attitude and mindset of making The Consistency Journal encouraged me to walk more when I could; new openings popped up while I was waiting for a meal, parking a bit further from the restaurant, going for evening walks after dinner. made a difference. “We… No comments yet.
