Enjoying Multiple Blog Platforms 0 ▲ Raging Against the Machines 3 hours ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments It's always difficult for me to stay on one platform every year because I love to tinker with code. Bear blog has been the best so far because it's SO incredibly customizable that I tinker with my design constantly, and I have a lifetime membership so I can always create and remove websites. I want to keep this domain and website going since I can pull all of my hobbies into one place, and I don't want to have to tell folks to constantly update my RSS feed. So I'll stay here, work on my other site experiments elsewhere, and then can pull in my posts from other sites here eventually. I don't think it's a great idea to duplicate my work everywhere, but I don't really care about SEO or any of the corporate stuff, and would like to keep this home as my archive. Right now I'm using Pagecord to blog (almost) daily for Blaugust, since it has awesome features like posting from Obsidian with micro.pub API, a really great WYSIWYG editor (the addon for Bear isn't quite the same), and drag-n-drop… No comments yet.
