I was able to get some lightning shots after all. I took these while I stand on the roof of the house. The show was enjoyable, but I came inside immediately after I heard a rumble of thunder. The two storm cells coming down off the Mogollon Rim and into the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains stayed mostly north of us. The outflow winds ticked up to just shy of 30 knots. We never got any rain, but the lightning was impressive though.
