Venezuelan was my chosen breakfast cuisine. After waking up on the bus I disembarked and walked for ten minutes to get to San Diego’s old town where I hoped to visit a highly rated cafe called Encuentro. The service there was slow but thorough, and extremely friendly. While I patiently waited I enjoyed the focused approach someone had had to decorating this corner of the room. I thought that the lack of wall spacing on the top print was a strong touch and I especially loved the studded leather print that brought an artistan touch to the exhibition of this powerful and clever idiom. I ordered from the Venezuelan brunch menu a dish called El Margariteño - fish, black beans, scrambled eggs with tomato and onions, avocado, plantains, white cheese, and arepa. I love a good carwash.
