AuguStory, the story of your blog by Robert Birming encourages sharing the story of our blog. Chloe at For No One has put together some great additional prompts and I've enjoyed stories by Sylvia and Becky at Online Goddess. My blogging story is not that interesting - while I've been banging around making sites since 1999 I've not consistently had a blog. Different projects have come and gone. Personal blogs, politics, local stuff, TV shows, a game, courses I was doing, on Diaryland, Blogger, Wordpress of course, Tumblr. What got this iteration going was a few days of getting enthused about the indieweb. It was early February and it was miserable and grey and I needed something fun and creative. I love writing, it is how I think, and while I write fiction every day I was a bit stalled on some of those projects and was interested in a different kind of outlet.
