eight: hear me out hear me out... I actually like this weird face

I think their name is SydThe resistance is unending. Last night it was "good art can't be fast." And setting aside that I'm starting to break down the "good" part of that insufferable Committee insistence of qualitative judgment, I opted to take time to just try a bunch of brushes in Procreate. I've done a little meatspace painting and know that I LOVE thick, textured paint and especially then carving it back with a palette knife. There's no real way to do that with digital art but I can still mess with base layers and erasing with the various brushes. I also tried to create a hard edge, jittering, drippy knife brush in the brush studio too today anyway. No luck so far. But. Still. I actually like this person. It's the eyes.
