Bandcamp Friday

As I try to write more here after a bit of a dry spell, I thought that I would share my Bandcamp Friday purchases from yesterday. Bandcamp isn’t perfect, I understand the concerns that some people have with it as a platform but with Bandcamp Friday it’s still one of the best ways to support a lot of artists. Also I kind of admire their commitment to never improving the search function. So when this Bandcamp Friday rolled around I wanted to get at least get a few things I’ve had my eyes, and ears, on. Although death metal is my usual bread and butter I haven’t been listening to that much of it lately so this was a good opportunity to jump right back in. I managed to pick up 3 releases that I really like. The first release I got was Deracinated into Soiled Reliquaries (Sarcophagus Odyssey) by Cabinet. What a title.
