It has been something of a scramble trying to catch up with everything (when is it not?), but if you are game, so am I. Tomorrow is Tove Jansson Day (also known as Finnish Art Day), when Finland raises its flags in recognition of their cherished icon’s one‑hundred‑and‑twelfth birthday. This means, of course, that we are now deep into Tove & Moomin Month here at Book Jotter – so we can be as exuberantly Toveish or as downright Moominminded as we wish over the next 24 days! In addition to all this, today is International Cat Day (one of Tove’s favourite animals) as well as Scottish Wildcat Day – and we can all reflect on limitless possibilities for International Infinity Day.
