As I noted in my first review of their Eighth Doctor Adventures line, the novel landscape for the BBC Books-led fraction of the Wilderness Years ended up being somewhat more complex than the Virgin-led segment, where once the New Adventures got up to speed they (and, once they started, the Missing Adventures) kept a consistent one-book-a-month-every-month schedule. I’m also making things more complicated for myself by, for at least the moment, also keeping up with the Doctor-less, Benny-fronted New Adventures that Virgin were putting out. So, these reviews are going to come out in blocks, each block including a cluster of articles covering a different time period. The first block spans from May 1997 (when the first Benny-led New Adventure came out) through to October 1997 – but there’s only five Past Doctor Adventures… No comments yet.
