This was a trip to see family we hadn’t seen in awhile and meet a new baby niece. I didn’t get too many non-family photos in South Dakota but we did go to an indoor butterfly hatchery and habitat that was a hit with our toddler who got them to land on her finger. Then we stopped by to see the Sioux Falls downtown and checked out a nearby fair. Missoula, MT# Missoula was fairly smoky when we were there due to nearby wildfires. The night we got there we checked out another fair and watched a dirt bike race. There was tons of wildlife just hanging around town. We probably saw 40 deer during a 20 minute walk each way and then the next morning we saw this little guy across a driveway which is apparently called a rock chuck. We then checked out “the only verified Lewis & Clark camp” called Travelers Rest a little south of town. The barn must have come much later hah. I then went for a solo hike on a trail called “Bear Creek” that thankfully did not live up to its name, but made up for that…
