I don’t watch a lot of movies. But, since I was traveling a bit this summer, I’ve watched probably twice as many movies as I usually see per-year and it’s only August. At some point I caved and got a Letterboxd account, where you can follow me and read my quick little reviews. But for your convenience, I’ve collected my recent ones below. Enjoy! The Prestige I was not expecting the wild Spy vs. Spy vibes. Very fun! Lincoln I liked it. I don't know enough about history to know how accurate this is or what its angle is, but as a film I thought it was decently interesting and of all periods in American history the Civil War -ish era is one I have an interest in. Partially because of Little Women, lol. It is definitely a little bit on the "dry" side, but not as much as I thought it would be. Daniel Day-Lewis's portrayal of Lincoln was great in my book. There is some weird part of me that's like "wow, he nailed exactly what Lincoln was like!" despite the fact that there's no video footage…
