About Me I’m a software engineer coming up on thirty years of experience programming, and I finally feel like I have something to say. I have written Go, Python, Java, and C++ on the backend, and Vue, React, jQuery, and vanilla JavaScript for browser-based applications. On the personal side, I consume quite a bit of science fiction in books and audiobooks. I follow space news and events. I get my information through many personal blogs using NetNewsWire, Old Reddit, Bubbles.town, and Hacker News. I am interested in technology, the sciences, research, mathematics, and philosophy. I strongly support open source and am an active user of Debian Linux, KDE, Firefox, Joplin and many other open source applications.
