From RIBA’s photographic archives: “Design for offices of British Petroleum (BP), Britannic House, London Wall, City of London: perspective view”, by Francis Milton Cashmore, of Messrs. Joseph & F. Milton Cashmore & Partners, the architects.This is Britannic House, and again the podium level is clearly visible, along with a highwalk connection. This appears to be looking from the south west, which means the connection is to the south, and it’s missing the later Barbican connections over Moor Lane.There’s also an interesting note:This was one the six office towers constructed between 1957 and 1976 which, together with the Museum of London, formed the western flank of the London Wall development. It was extensively refurbished by Sheppard Robson International in 2000 and renamed CityPointI wouldn’t have considered Britannic House as part of the London Wall development, but it is of a very similar style, as you can see from the rendering on Delmatic’s site.
