You’re So Bored You’re Even Reading This

I have some really good news if you’re an artist trying to get noticed: You do not even have to be good these days. I think there are enough people out there so bored on their phone, on their computer, on their whatever, just looking for anything halfway interesting. And I bet if you’re an artist, you can be at least halfway interesting. The only thing you have to do is be consistent. I am not a lot of things, but I can be really consistent in my efforts. Walking or riding my bike every day—and I mean every single day, with no skipping—for over six years. This is not me bragging about myself. It’s just something that I was able to do to where now it’s effortless, and it just happens. This blog, whatever you think of it: 280-some-odd days in a row, just posting. I look forward to it. I’ve made it as easy as possible. I dictate it. I put it in AI. I yell at AI to not change it, just clean it up. Then it doesn’t do it. Then I yell at it. And eventually we get to what we’ve come to call…
