2026/08/05 Wednesday I have a theory that most people don't actually enjoy culture, they enjoy the collective experience of culture, they enjoy sharing a common trait with other people, and that's it, the culture itself is just a means to an end. I have a problem, I actually enjoy culture, and I feel so fucking lonely because of that... Wait, let me explain, very very often, in fucking everything that I like, I watch/read/listen to something and find it great, so I look for more stuff in that vein and I find a few major recommendations and go after those, and then I go to forums and social media and stuff and ask people for more recommendations, and they can only recommend those major recommendations I already checked, that everyone already knows, even when it's niche stuff, but it's like the surface of that niche, and I struggle so much to find one fucking person that goes beyond the surface, to find that thing that hasn't been collectively approved yet so people don't care about it,…
