Freewheeling

We're only on the 5th day of Blaugust and I'm already struggling to think of something to write about. I went through the list of prompts and nothing is standing out there either. I think I'll just do a little free-writing (freewheeling?) today and see how it goes. Let's start with some music I've been loving lately: The album Come Closer by Tomora - a trip-hop collaboration between Aurora and Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers. I always love seeing new trip-hop releases because it's a bit of a rare genre nowadays, but it's one of my favorites. Tarja's new album, Frisson Noir, might end up being my album of the year. I can't get enough of it. My favorite songs are "The Trace Outlives," "Tango," and "Against the Odds." Chelsea Wolfe has released three new singles that I've had on repeat: "Cold," "Death Is Not the End," and "The Dark."
