With about six visits a day, this happens every now and then. Sometimes it’s possible to do the next job earlier, sometimes it’s not. Today it was the latter. Being in the middle of nowhere, I couldn’t wash my car or tend to any of the other duties outside of inspecting houses. All I could do was wait... Waiting got me thinking about waiting itself. The time span between where we are and where we want to be. Does it really need to feel as frustrating as it often does? Only if we consider this to be inferior to that. Seeing the present moment as something that shouldn’t be here. As soon as we let go of that idea and accept this for what it is, frustration is more or less gone. It all came from the notion that there’s something wrong with where we are. There isn’t. In fact, it’s the only place we can be right now. It’s the present moment.
