Double Maths First Thing: Issue 64

Double Maths First Thing is square in hex AND decimal! Hello! Guess who nearly got sucked into a 6 ÷ 2 × 3 debate on Mathstodon? I note that “the ISO 80000-2 standard for mathematical notation recommends only the solidus / or fraction bar for division.” So there. In more edifying news, this is issue #64 of Double Maths First Thing, which is 100 in decimal. However, it started at 0, so last week’s was “really” the hundredth issue. I noticed that the list of numbers that are squares in both hex and decimal is not in the OEIS, but equally, I’d struggle to justify it being interesting to anyone except DMFT readers, and even then maybe not many of you.
