Loops Go Round

A beautiful simple little tape loop excerpt, running round and round for nearly an hour, courtesy of Petya Lukyanov, aka Peter Lukeson of Denton, Texas. There is a piano and nearby birdsong, heard in combination. Whether or not one’s ear can catch any degradation by the end of it — and there is, certainly, some around the loop’s seam, which becomes more evident over time — what’s at work is a lovely nudge toward attention and reflection.
