I ended up walking quite a bit on day nine of my trip. We decided to walk to April’s daughter’s school to drop off some sweets for her classmates as a going away present. The teacher was reluctant to share them, explaining that they don’t really give out treats to kids at school, but they made an exception because it was her last day before she returned to Canada. Next, we walked over to Don Quixote, a giant “everything” store, with different departments on each floor. I went there specifically to pick up a souvenir for my son and ended up with a Pokémon stuffy, but we had a terrific time browsing through everything from kids’ toys and home VLTs to “adult” novelties and rice cookers. I actually wanted to pick up some new luggage, but instead of carting it around all day, I made a plan to get it on the way home. Your browser does not support the video tag.
