Week Notes 2026-31 0 ▲ An Almost Anonymous Blog 2 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I find them useful in terms of looking back over the past week to reflect on moments from my life, the media I’ve consumed etc, but by and large they are starting to feel a little performative. I’m posting them because I feel like I should because it’s part of the cadence of my website. --Happily Imperfect, Farewell Weeknotes?; emphasis mine I'm quoting Gordon here because I feel ever-so-slightly the same way. Not that my week notes are performative, but in a similar vein, I sometimes feel like I'm forcing myself to write them. Or that I'm writing them "because I've always written them"1. Having said that, I do enjoy looking back on the week and writing them, there are just weeks when I don't feel like doing it and wonder about doing them at all. It's a topic I will revisit in 2027. ¶ What happened this week? We didn't get a lot of softball in this week.
