From Phyllis Bottome by william@williamdenton.org (William Denton):This all got me to checking Phyllis Bottome in Wikipedia, and I was amazed. She and her husband (apparently a spy) studied under and took analysis from Alfred Adler (whose biography she wrote, at his request), they started a school in Austria that had Ian Fleming and Cyril Connolly among its students, and she wrote dozens of books, among which is the 1937 anti-Nazi novel The Mortal Storm. What a life!
