week #31

➜ last Saturday we drove up North for a short family vacation and our week started on Monday still at the holiday park. we planned some fun things for this day, since this would be our last full day here. ➜ it was a bit cloudly with some small showers in between, but nonetheless a great day for our plan. we drove to park Hoge Veluwe and biked around here the whole day. they have these typical white bikes that you can use for free around the park. ➜ we first visited the kröller müller museum and started in the main building. D did a scavenger hunt and had to search for items in the Van Gogh paintings (very fun!). ➜ we did a route through the sculpture garden and rescued a bird that was stuck in one of the art pieces (the yellow box on the picture above). poor thing couldn’t get out and who knows how long it was stuck in there. ➜ I loved the park, the biking through the landscape and the wind that almost blew us off our bikes ;) and the feeling of freedom it gave me!
