The 50 Week Writing Challenge 0 ▲ Nomad Online 1 hour ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments It was a relentlessly sunny day again. Summer in London this year has been brutal. It has had many sweltering and seeking respite in air conditioned buildings and cafes. Anywhere away from the face melting heat. I was wandering London’s Southbank, enjoying the breeze along the Thames, when I came across this interesting box of writing prompts at the National Theatre. It’s created by Nina Karnikowski. She is a writer and teacher who has journaled most of her life, using the practice to orientate herself in the world. More importantly, she has used it to savour and amplify goodness. When Nina started teaching, her students often asked for tips to keep up their writing momentum and for prompts that would help them put something down on the page. That is how these cards came about. I’ve been looking to get back to writing consistently again. This little box was found at just the right time. I will pick a card and share my thoughts here once a week. Let’s see how this goes! No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
