(image courtesy of unknown artist) i miss being human. i miss the feeling of words carrying more than weight, expectations, obligations, overload. i miss the sanctity of crafting them for others back when meaning was deliberate, messy, raw, intentional, full of... itself. when it took days, weeks to sculpt thousands of words into a form in which others could share, engage, learn, and discover themselves within. by unpacking the inherently messy humanity within their creation. instead of the mere seconds (gallons of water, masses of electricity, weeks of exploitative labour) that it takes to conjure ten times the amount with ten times less meaning less effort, less "cost". ten times the number of infuriatingly, increasingly meaningless symbols all from one. simple. request. i miss the ability to selectively sip from the freshwater pools of others' lives, when the water was flowing, some streams cloudy, others muddy, but all organic microcosms reflections, of the upstream source from…
