Write the story of your blog. I began blogging back in 2001. I wasn’t new to the internet - my first forays were around 1997/98, and I’d been using a BBS since 1995 - but this was the first time I made a little home for myself. We had crappy dial-up internet, our ISP (Freeserve) was the first British company to offer it without a subscription - it was really popular and sometimes you couldn’t connect because the lines were all full. We even had a cool email subdomain: @yourservice.freeserve.net I played around a bit on Geocities, but my first proper website was called CafeHome and I spent ages designing the entry page using Macromedia Flash and iframes! I taught myself HTML using the “For Dummies” series of books. My posts were a bit silly, like what I had for dinner or watched on the telly that evening.
