I took the train to Nihonbashi, walked through the station, weaving through people and shopping areas, through a business tower, up an escalator in a book store, and out the front door onto the street. I walked a couple blocks, took a right, and signed my name on the waiting list for Philly, one of my favorite places here in Tokyo. Door-to-door, it’s like 23 minutes. I didn’t even think about where I was walking. I was completely spaced out the whole time. I don’t really remember anything from when I walked out my apartment door to when I looked up at Philly. I don’t remember seeing anyone, I don’t remember any train ads, I didn’t even check the screens or out the windows to see what station I was at when I exited the train. I just walked straight out through the gate, navigating to exactly where I was intending to go. To kill some… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
