Photo Shoot from the High Line 0 ▲ atmtx photo blog 2 hours ago · Art · hide · 0 comments Photo Shoot from the High Line – New York, New York Today’s picture is also similar to what I posted from my previous High Line coverage. Though, in my defense, who wouldn’t want a picture of the Empire State Building with such a unique foreground? However, there is one big difference. While the Empire State was the primary subject previously, this time the model shoot takes center stage. The iconic skyscraper is used as a defining backdrop. I zoomed to the maximum 75mm in this photo, but ideally, I would’ve liked to get closer. However, I think this composition provides good context, showing that I shot this from the High Line. I actually prefer this picture a lot more than the much fancier one shot with the GFX 50S II. It’s framed better, and the model shoot makes for a better subject. It goes to show that it’s not the technical specs of the gear that matter, but rather the circumstances and the photographer’s creativity.
