Everything that I write here - unless I'm quoting someone - comes from my brain, through my fingertips to the keyboard. When it comes to editing, I re-read and edit until I am satisfied with it enough to publish. Then, I usually immediately find something huge error that horrifies me, and I edit it again, and then I'm usually good to go. While sometimes that means mistakes, awkward sentences, rambling, or whatever, it's me. And this blog is for me. Not by ai, not for ai. Whenever I write an email, send a text, or type notes, it comes from me. I consider the exercise of writing things out to be important for, among other things, brain health. For the most part, I tend to use search the way I have for three decades. Recently, I've even taken to skipping search engines when I can; for example, I often go directly to Wikipedia, or a dictionary app, or a physical source, to look something up, and I supplement with search engines as necessary.
