“The unphotographed moment.” Now and then, deliberately do not photograph the sensory-rich thing — the meal, the low gold light, the street at dusk with the festival somewhere behind it. Let it go un-filed. An experience you did not capture keeps a power the captured ones lose: it can come back on its own, years later, through a smell, instead of only on demand through a screen. You are not refusing to remember.
