I picked two movies that shared a few things in common, mainly guys who try to make women into exactly what they want and end up regretting it. Neither movie was amazing, but both kept me interested and I didn't once feel the need to hit the fast-forward button. The female stars of both films, Lilly Sullivan in Soulmate (I'm done spelling it that stupid way) and Inde Navarrette in Obsession truly shined in their performances of slightly unhinged characters. Lilly Sullivan who I'd seen in Evil Dead Rise, really impressed me with her emotionless vibes and robotic behavior. Its a shame she probably won't get the recongition for it and I'm sure a lot of folks will write off this movie due to it's dumb title and it's association with the Megan… No comments yet.
