"Close your eyes and think of England." That is the quote I always return to when I think about the way that it feels like AI is being shoved down our throat without a single thought to our own consent. When Microsoft tries to force Copilot on us and Google decides that their search feature is better off as a LLM slop suggester and each and every graphics design software package has not only forced AI upon you, they've actually actively snuck it in 🤬 We are starting to move into a place where it's almost impossible to entirely avoid AI, but that doesn't mean that I have not put in a considerable amount of effort trying to find ways to minimize my works' exposure to AI. Unfortunately in this ultra connected and ultra capitalistic hellscape, it’s basically impossible to fully escape it without pulling a Chris McCandless and disappearing into the Alaskan wilderness.
