Moving Again

After just over two years here in this old town in Northern Germany we are on the eve of another move, hopefully this is the last one. We aren’t getting any younger and I have less energy each time. This will be the twenty forth time I have moved house or flat in my life, which is without a doubt above average. We aren’t moving far this time, which is a good thing, and it has given us the chance to do a few trips back and forth with odd bits and bobs. As of this evening we are in a flat and it hasn’t been the most peaceful place we’ve lived. The last couple to move in below us have had us on edge for the first few months they were here. It seemed like they had drilled into every surface they could find. Not surprising though when one saw the amount of stuff they unloaded into this place, some people are just collectors and they certainly are. Enough of them, as of tomorrow they are history and never to be heard again. The new place is a house and detached so we are hoping it will be…
