August List Sandwiches and July Wrapup

Hello Sandwich people of all nations and welcome to the month of August! Yes, we’re a couple days in already. Yes, we’ve been remiss in posting our schedule for the month. Yes, we are very lazy. But look, all those delicious tomatoes in our garden aren’t going to pick and eat themselves. Summer is a busy time. So let’s jump right into things, by taking a look back at the sandwiches of July! In July the Tribunal started the month having fun with a capital F–that is, we enjoyed some tasty ham-and-cheese sliders commonly served at Funerals in the South. They’re also called Party Sandwiches, which is a better name for them. Next we tried a few of the dishes known as Cutters in Trinidad and Tobago, eating Geera Pork with Hops Bread. We’ve found a new go-to recipe for parties! And finally, we closed out the month taking a look at some Italian sausage sandwiches from Iowa and Minnesota that have historically had unfortunate names associated with them.
