Not a single image or line of dialogue are wasted. Every moment is packed with multiple layers of subtext. It might be the most crowd-pleasing example of why the Hitchcock style keeps movie lovers coming back for repeat viewings. No matter how many times I experience the suspense set-pieces and twisted love triangle of Notorious, I feel I always catch some new detail to intrigue me anew.
