Unfortunately I left it on the vine one day too long and a deer decided to take a big chomp out of it. We were devastated. Elsewhere in the garden the passionflower vine has suddenly popped out a number of quickly-growing maypop fruits. I finally discovered last year that fully ripe maypop fruit is incredibly delicious so I won’t be picking them until the very last moment. Fingers crossed the deer don’t suddenly get a taste for these too. § I’ve been seriously debating getting some sort of dumb phone ever since the baby was born. The problem has always been finding something that satisfies all of the small but important things I use my smartphone for throughout the day. GPS, reminders, and tap to pay, to name a few. Recently I’ve started to think that maybe an Apple Watch is the most prudent solution? Especially a cellular model so that I can leave my phone behind?
