On the Joys of Imperfection

This is the start of a new series on my blog that I tentatively call "hitting the digital brakes". If I come up with a better title, I shall change this header and the hashtag This is a picture I took on the road home today, with a Kodak Charmera. The Charmera is a tiny keychain camera that I bring with me when I use a small handbag. I love my tiny camera. There's no logic to the love for it, the camera has a very low resolution and it's so tiny it's kinda hard to take pictures with it using the screen. I love this camera because it's imperfect (also teeny tiny and makes me feel so free when I snap pictures with it) And of all the pictures I took, the picture I share here may be considered the most imperfect. None of the leaves are in focus, everything is blurry at best, and yet... This picture excites the artist in me, it makes me keep staring at it. It makes me want to doodle pixels. I love this picture because it's imperfect.
