My Favorite Runs From SGDQ 2026

Another GDQ has come and gone! I was more or less free to watch the entire week this year, not for the best of reasons, but I was happy to catch a lot of the event live! Of the runs I was able to catch live and/or watch back the VOD for so far, here are a few highlights I enjoyed: Kirby Air Riders – All Tracks This game looks like such a blast. Nintendo still out here making Videogames. This is just a straight up and down run with some solid commentary. A time-trial racing game where you go from one track to the next is always an easy watch, I find. Don't Stop Girlypop – Any% (Inbounds) This game looks like a chaotic mess and I need to play it. Blessed run. Great couch, great commentary, great runner. Just a bunch of friends hanging out and having fun. Hey You, Pikachu! – Discovery Days Race Here's where things start getting silly. If you don't remember this game from back in the day, you're essentially yelling into an N64 mic trying to get Pikachu to do things. In a live race…
